PRIMAL AWARENESS (15 points) Copyright (c) 1996 by Dr Kromm You have an instinctive, paranormal awareness of Primal activity (Ki, Psi and Magic use), and of Primal Power (but not Luck or Primal Awareness) in others. This is an uncontrollable sense that cannot be actively used or shut off. The awareness generally takes the form of a general uneasiness, or of strange and terrifying dreams. These manifestations will often provide the only clues as to the nature and location of the exact Primal Power at work. The hints will quite often be extremely ambiguous or even incomprehensible. When Primal activity is at work, or a character with Primal Power is nearby, the GM rolls versus the Aware individual's IQ, with a bonus equal to her level of Primal Power plus the level of Primal Power at work, and with the usual range penalties on p. B201. A success indicates that the Primal notices the activity or being in question.
