Copyright (c) 1996 by Leroy Van Camp III Unbalanced Attack (Hard) Defaults to weapon skill-4 Prerequisite: Any unbalanced melee weapon skill Cannot exceed prerequisite skill level Used with an unbalanced melee weapon, such as an axe, this maneuver is designed to redirect the motion of a previous failed attack into a second attempt, usually by bringing the weapon full rotation above the head. This maneuver can be only be used if the character's last attack with the unbalanced weapon failed. It allows the attacker to make another attack, when normally allowed, without having to stop to ready the weapon. If this second attack fails, the attacker must make a Dexterity roll; if this check is failed the weapon is pulled further out of balance, and an extra turn must be taken to ready it before another attack can be made (i.e. an axe would take two turns to ready.)
