Okay, I've gotten some pretty positive responses to my stuff, so I wanted to post this, an index of all the changes and additions that I've made to GURPS Supers. If anyone is interested in ANYTHING listed here, say so, and I'll post it. Otherwise, I'll just post a random change/addition when I get a chance. Note: These are only the changes and additions to GURPS Supers. I have made a few other changes to other books, but none even come close to the number of changes to Supers. All changes/additions are noted in brief format; if you want the full description, just ask! I'll be more than happy to type out the full form. I may have already posted it. I plan to post EVERYTHING, event- ually, including my non-Supers changes. Some changes are just noted "extensive rework". This means that there is no WAY I could summarize it easily. Usually this is because there are MANY small but important changes, not because it's been drastically changed. SUPER ADVANTAGES Absorption: Extensive rework Body of Electricity (NEW): 50, Like Air, walk thru metal, flow thru lines Body of Fire: Extensive rework (more powerful in general) Body of Ice: "You take 1/2 damage from cold attacks" added Body of Metal: 8/level Body of Stone: 6/level, Gives DR 3 per 2 levels DR: "Hardened" ignores ALL armor divisors; new "Crystalline" limitation Doesn't Breathe: For +25% you don't need oxygen at all G-Tolerance (NEW): 3/level, Lets you make higher-G turns (p. SU24) Hyperflight: For 100 points, you travel 1 ly per minute! Increased Speed: You can buy 1/2 point; You can buy Move/Dodge/I by itself Move Thru Ice: 32, because it's just Insubstantiality with a limitation Passive Defense: New "Only vs certain types of damage" limitation Reflection: Extensive rework Regrowth: Regeneration speeds this up Rejuvenation (NEW): 10/15/20/25/30, Like Regeneration, for Fatigue Shrinking: 20/level, Extensive rework Variable Power Pool (NEW): Variable, Reconfigure your abilities Web-Slinging (NEW): 15, Kinda like gliding SUPER DISADVANTAGES Jinxed: -10/20/30, Only affects your friends Unearthly Hideous (NEW): -30, -6 reaction, normals make Fright Checks ENHANCEMENTS Accuracy: Special, Extensive (drastic) rework Can Do Fatigue Damage (NEW): +20%, Self-explanatory Direct (Internal/External) Attack (NEW): +100%, Immune to certain defenses Extra Painful (NEW): +30%, Does double Shock value Increased Damage (NEW): +30%, 1d/level becomes (1d+1)/level Increased Range (NEW): +30%, 2x, 3x, 4x, etc. range Jet (NEW): +20%, Aim while you fire Personal Field (NEW): +20%, Use a power as a continuous field around you Richochet: Flat +20% or +30%, Extensive rework Vibratory Attack (NEW): +30%, Armor-Piercing for crystalline armor Wall: Extensive rework Wall Length: +5%, Adds to length of Wall (see Wall) Works Underwater: +10%, Duh. :-) LIMITATIONS Exclusivity: Same idea, but now linked to each enhancement (More) Eye Contact Only: -40%, -30% if it's Eye OR Touch Knockback Only: If the attack does 1/2 damage, too, it's worth -10% Limited Use: New table (gives a bit more of a point break) No Area Effect (NEW): -30%, Turns an Area power into a Ranged one Preparation Required: New table (better progression, IMO) Reduced Damage (NEW): -30%, 1d/level becomes (1d-1)/level Reduced Duration (NEW): -10%, like Reduced Range Reduced Range: Max of 4 levels Touch Only: -50% Variable Range (NEW): -20%, Range of attack is 1 yd/point of damage GADGET LIMITATIONS Bulky (NEW): -20%, Severely hampers movement; bulky and/or heavy One-Shot (NEW): -50%, Gadget works once, then dies SUPER-POWERS Buzzsaw: Does +1d/level; You may buy Reduced Fatigue Cost for it Control Temp.: Temp. ranges changed; new Enhancements (for Warm/Cool, too) Create Gas: LC:4, Enhancement from Create Air available; New limitation Create Object (NEW): LC:5, Create objects from thin air Disintegrate: LC:4, Reworked somewhat Flash: LC:6, Extensive rework, new table Instill Fear (kinda NEW): LC:4, Adapted from Bunnies & Burrows; scare people Laser: The "impaling" was an error (errata) Morph: New limitations (Reoccuring Feature, Only X Forms) Shockwave: LC:9 Sonic Blast: LC:8 Time-Jumping (NEW): LC:75/5, Travel thru time Power^2 years Wall of Fire: LC:7, Is 2 hexes high, not Power/3 Warm: LC:1 Water Jet: LC:6 Wind Jet: LC:4 NEW SUPERS RULES Multiple Actions for High-Speed Supers -Note: Unifies rules for Martial Arts, Altered Time Rate, Celerity, Dodging Throwing Distance for super ST or TK -Note: Just clarifies what the 1/2D range is for super throws Linking Enhancements to Limitations -Note: Reduce the Enhancement value by the Limitation percentage Balancing Psi in a Supers campaign -Note: Different, compatible, buying schemes to keep psi balanced
