Coney looks like-- well, a 6'2", 220-lb bipedal *cat*, with Siamese
markings, a stubby tail, and a somewhat splay-footed posture. Nobody's
really sure where he came from (but see below), though he has turned
out to be quite a decent football player (he has been barred from
meepsball after mistaking a game for that day's Team attempt to get
lunch), and is currently majoring in English (he may switch to Phys.
Ed with enough... persuasion).

There is a persistent rumor that Coney is in fact one of the
Archdeacon's cats! How he got like this nobody will say-- and nobody
likes to think very much about what may have happened to the people
who were responsible for his new position in life... Coney, for his
part, always manages to change the subject (or be selectively deaf) if
it's brought up. (GM's decision: either he doesn't remember his past
life, or, if it *is* true, he's not telling...)

For those of you who have the IOU book and are using the sample
students as NPCs, I figure Coney probably likes Gillian a lot; it's up
to you whether she reciprocates the affection. Pyewacket does *not*
like Coney, as the cat treats Gillian buys for Pyewacket tend to
disappear when the big lug's around. Loriel DeForest, already a
super-touchy character, dislikes Coney intensely (he worked up the
nerve to flirt with her, which in his case meant coming up to her at
a kegger and biting her on the back of the neck). The relationship
between Coney and Joe Calderwood is strained but cordial: Joe's all
too willing to believe the rumor, and Coney finds Joe's alternate form
a bit smellier and droolier than ideal.
