Growf Copyright (c) 1996 by Brandi Weed Here's a possible setup for the What's New Dragon. The problem is, the low stats might have to count against the disad limit, which may be a bit dodgy: -15 ST 8 -15 IQ 8 0 DX 10 0 HT 10/8 Advantages: 30 Winged Flight 30 Flame Jet Level 5 (5d-5 impaling damage) 30 Extraordinary Luck 10 DR 10 against Fire attacks 15 Cast Iron Stomach (it might be able to eat fireworks!) Disads: -25 Mute -30 No Fine Manipulators -10 Reduced Hit Points (-2) -10 Clueless -5 Klutz -10 Academic Status -2 (froshthing) [No Fine Manipulators is optional; the dragon never seemed to be able to pick stuff up, though.] -5 points of Quirks. I don't know how many points would be put in skills (not many, I'd think!), but as it stands, the character is at -5 or -15 points. If you give no points for Academic Status, and chuck No Fine Manipulators, the character stands at 25 points. I wonder if, like a Kobold, a 100-point What's New dragon is in fact rather unlikely... And what about the tendency to multiply explosively when immersed?
