As a result of his guilt, she has been raised to be a perfect diplomat. His guilt has been transferred to such an extent that she has a higher sense of duty to alien cultures than to her own. This is fine for first contact situations but will reduce her usefulness as a negotiator in competitive situations. She is the protege of another famous diplomat (whose name I can't recall). She has spent time with all the known alien races. She was more interested in the Xiang than the Sung, partly because less is known about them. She is working on translating their secondary languages. Her music based on Xiang tonal language met with mixed reviews from the Xiang, for reasons she is struggling to figure out. She spent some time with the Eber and is well versed in their customs. When waiting she still tends to fold her arms up and place her hands on her shoulders in imitation of their arm folding. While teaching as a guest lecturer at Beta Canum Venaticorum, she has taken advantage of the opportunity to visit the Pentapod colony. She learned to swim a little just to be able to join them in the water. Her introduction to the campaign would have been fun, since I would have asked the GM to give the crew just her name and reputation and let them be surprised when picking her up. As she gets older, she may outgrow her poor health and physical awkwardness. If puberty ever sets in, she may blossom into an attractive woman like her mother. She may even care by then. She was designed for the Traveller 2300 background. Alien races will need to be modified for a different background.
