Character Story and Explanation of New Disad:

    To start, Quadrapalegic is not covered in regular GURPS.  The lame
Disad, is a -35 pts, which covers having no legs.  Not having one arm
is a -20 point disad, but as it says it still allows for another arm
and probably assumes the use of legs.  Not having any arms, nor  any
legs, is more than twice as bad as not just having 1 arm, so I more
than doubled the cost for one arm.  Total cost of disad then, -100pts. 
Although Supers recommends only 100 pts in Disads, the GM allowed more
to help further flesh out this character.  A lame guy with no
personality seemed really lame...
    Anyway as for his background.  David McCain, as Cannonball was
born, was a normal young kid growing up like any other.  When he was
10, an accident by the train tracks left young David legless, confining
him to a wheelchair for the rest of his life.  Six years later, in a
bizarre if not ironic accident, at the very same site, David lost his
arms crossing the tracks in his wheelchair.  Strangely, the freak
accident triggered something in David, making him invulnerable to all
other forms of injury.
    Stuck with the probability of being a stump for the rest of his
life, David began studying as much as possible ancient texts.  He
learned how to fly through sheer power of the mind.  As he practiced,
he forever pushed himself harder and harder.  Half of all earned points
should be put either into his flight skill or his super flight ability.
Other points may be used for anything.
    To help Cannonball in his daily tasks, he has enlisted the aid of a
Swedish nurse, Helga Peterson.  The two have become very close and may
soon be married.
