"Ferret" General Purpose Infantry Maser System V1.

The Ferret is a Modular system of interchangeable parts built around a TL9 54Kj maser. The standard configurations include a holdout pistol, Heavy pistol, SMG, carbine and rifle.
A power-pack is highly recommended for the SMG, and useful for all other versions.
A power-pack only version of the Carbine is very common.

This design bends (maybe breaks) the design rules, as it breaks the maser into two parts, the core maser and a focus section. Other than that, it is an interesting system concept. The idea of handing a standard package to a troop that can handle almost all his needs is something with real appeal.
