TL9 Bowcaster
Crossbow/Blaster V1

This weapon was developed for a rather eclectic person. Have you got a player that can't seem to leave their fantasy character behind? Then this weapon is for you! The overall weight on the combined package is rather on the high side, but that's what you get for combo weapons. The ROF on the crossbow is 1, but this assumes you enter a round cocked. The reload takes a round, but can be a free action after being fired. A crossbow is a rather obsolete weapon for TL9, but it is very quiet and the firing action has no EM pulse. For a stealthy one shot hit on an unarmored target, it's hard to beat. Once I get CII, I will probably upgrade the bolts some.

Now, obviously, this is not a very practical weapon, but don't laugh at anyone that carries it (note ST :)
I will try to convince the player that the BoltCaster (due out later tonight or tomorrow) is far more useful, but I have to admit, it was fun to build.
