  The Light Battlesuit was designed to reinforce regular infantry
units. A few battlesuits are issued to each platoon or company for
crucial missions.
  The standard load for the gun sockets are a laser designator and
a carbine (cr|6d|10|11|1,000|4,500|10|60|9|0) in the right arm and
a gyroc (with APEX spcl|8d(2)|13|7|1,800|2,500|10|20|-|0) in the
left arm, adding $3,840 to the pricetag. Sensors are a thermograph
for darkness/smoke and a sonar for areas filled with hot smoke or
blackout gas.
  The suit uses early TL08 technology [GURPS Robots first edition]
with parts from Ultra-Tech.

  Accomodations: Quick-access battlesuit seat for a 160-lbs. user
(32 lbs., 3.12 cf, $6700) with CBR filter (1 lb., 0.02 cf, $200).
  Brain: Small compact brain (C2, 1 lb., 0.02 cf, $2,000).
  Sensors: Basic sensors with thermograph and sonar/1 (5 lbs., 0.1
cf, $14,000).
  Communicator: Basic com plus IFF (1 lb., 0.02 cf, $1,000).
  Arm Motors: Two cheap ST 20 arm motors (each 8 lbs., 0.16 cf,
$4,000 and 0.1 KW).
  Leg Drivetrain: 0.8 KW (48 lbs., two motors @ 0.48 cf, $9,600).
  Accessories: GPS (0.5 lbs., 0.01 cf, $100), two 9-lbs. sockets
(each 0.18 cf, $90).
  Power System: Routine power usage 1 KW. A rE cell (20 lbs., 0.2
cf, $2,000) lasts for 50h.
  Subassemblies: Head, two arms and two legs.
  Body Design: Holds the torso of the user, CBR filter, computer,
com, GPS, power system, 0.08 cf cargo hold and head rotation space
with 30 degree front and rear slopes, 2.5 cf total.
  Head Design: Limited rotation, contains the head of the user and
sensors, together 0.5 cf.
  Arm Design: Holds an arm of the user, an arm motor and a socket,
volume 0.5 cf.
  Leg Design: Holds a leg of the user and a motor, 0.88 cf.
  Area: Body 11, head 4, arms 4 each, legs 6 each, total area 35.
  Structure: Expensive heavy frame (157.5 lbs., $14,000).
  Hit Points: Body 33, head 12, arms 24 each, legs 18 each.
  Armor: DR 30 laminate armor, IR cloaking and seal (total 140
lbs. and $16,450), torso front and rear are DR 45 (slopes).
  Statistics: Design mass 440 lbs., loaded mass 600 lbs. (0.3t),
5.76 cf (7'1''), $74,320. Body ST 40, arm ST 20, HT 12/33. Ground
speed 6.5, can't float. Legality rating 1.
