JP, I have sent along some .DTA files for makechar for to please include with that wonderful program, or in that directory. The two .GEN's I have are "DND" (which is my adaptation of fantasy for a D&D-like setting, actually set in the "Known World" of the D&D Gazetteers series), and "T2000", a Twilight: 2000 style background set in Southern Ontario. D'ya think it'll be OK to use these as names for these files, being just slightly off from the actual games? There's not really much taken from the two games, and the files could be easily genericized. Maybe not worth worrying about... The files should be as follows: DND.GEN DND.DTA BASICBP.DTA CLERIC.DTA DRUID.DTA DNDEQUIP.DTA SPELLSBP.DTA KAR.DTA T2000.GEN T2000EQU.DTA HUMANNAT.DTA (expanded) MDRNLANG.DTA (expanded) T2000_MA.DTA Oh yeah, there's also MARTIAL.GEN MARTIAL.DTA For a more complete version of martial arts. The GEN file isn't set up to give a complete genre, but enough to try out the .DTA file, at which point you can use it for whatever other genre you need (as I did for T2000_MA.DTA). Hope this works out. My return address in case it doesn't make it into the transfer is pren8360@mach1.wlu.ca Spinner
