REAPER

    vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath

  Reapers watch out for signs of hubris in humanity - for signs of 
humans who, in their arrogance, forget that they are not God.  In 
practice, this means that anyone who thinks so much of themselves that 
they forget their own frailty is liable to be visited by one of these 
angels, just to remind them how weak and vulnerable they really are.

REQUIRED ADVANTAGES:  Psychic Vampirism at Power 10 (+30 pts).
REQUIRED DISADVANTAGES:  None.  Jealousy is a common Reaper disadvantage 
but contrary to rumor, there are plenty of Reapers who don't have it.

CELESTIAL REAPERS

  Celestial Reapers see their duty as the maintenance of the God-
ordained order of things.  Excessive pride in humans is an insult to the 
memory of the Almighty to whom they should direct their reverence.  How 
each Celestial Reaper decides who is unacceptably arrogant is an 
intensely personal matter, and they do not always agree on who is and 
who is not worthy of their attentions.  However, almost any celebrity is 
liable to be fair game.
  Celestial Reapers tend to think that most of the worlds ills are 
caused by individuals who have forgotten their place.  Pride makes 
humans value themselves more highly than they value other humans, which 
gives them an excuse to abuse those "below" them.

Stereo-types
Apocalypt:  You do not torch your entire garden because there are a few 
weeds - you just dig up the weeds.
Bachae:  They would rather have fun than help, the decadent fools.
Bhoddidsatva:  Encouraging individual humans to seek personal 
transcendence while leaving the rest of the world to fend for itself is 
to encourage the worst sort of selfishness.
Children of the Crucible:  Sound allies, although they do sometimes miss 
the big picture.  There are cases in which it is best to write off the 
lost sheep so that you can protect the rest of the flock.
Fury:  You can't perform micro-surgery with a chain-saw.  Punishment 
should work as a deterrent, and a deterrent only works if the innocent 
are spared.
Justicar:  If only all Angels performed their duty with such steadfast 
dedication.
Lamenter:  They do not understand that one can only help the oppressed 
by freeing them from the oppressor who holds them down.  Have they 
forgotten Moses?
Mammonite:  Money is the greatest source of distraction from spiritual 
thoughts ever invented.  These dangerous Angels should get their 
priorities straight.
Muse:  They are more subtle than Mammonites in the temptation that they 
offer, but no less insidious.
Narcissite:  They are all Infernal, twisted by the deadly sin of Pride.
Infernal Reaper:  They mock us.  They must be taught respect.
Tiamatic:  Too much freedom leads only to the strong exploiting the 
weak.
