   The #$@%*&!!!!!!!s may have a reputation modifier of negative whatever
you want.  It doesn't apply.  Any race that is intimately familiar with them
to recieve it is already doomed.

   These poor folk have been wandering the space lanes like Terran Gypsies of
old, ever
since a series of industiral accidents and natural catastrophes forced them to
migrate
from their homeworld.

   Things just go wrong when these folks show up.  Worse, their invulnerability
to their own curse is often the ONLY thing holding it back at all.  Get enough
of them
on one planet and the attracted bad luck reaches genocidal proportions.

   The people of Aszlun (Saporo I) managed to round up and deport every
#$@%*&!!!!!!! on their planet.  The following day, their sun exploded.  (It was
a red dwarf!  The odds against
that much hydrogen spontaneously fusing...)

   Individually the #$@%*&!!!!!!! will do their best to help things along.  That
circumstances beyond it's control occur, and occur and occur, is at best,
coincidence, and it will redouble
it's efforts to help, if only to establish evidence that the race is being
slandered by these "Jinx" charges.
