The face is hideous, with an almost skull-like nose , deeply sunken eyes with a dull yellow glow and a huge maw of razor-sharp teeth. Their forehead has a light dusting of scales. Their ears have several notches near the top and they denote social class by bladed-looking earrings. The fewer points on the blade, the higher the class. Most ordinary Tarkolds wear earrings with a five pointed blade. (There's a lot more to the whole earring system, if you want the info, I'll send it, but It would make for a rather large message if I included it here) Their society is a noble, though somewhat fierce one. They are carnivores with a very strong stomach-any type of meat will do, though it's not quite strong enough for the Cast Iron stomach advantage. Their society is a militaristic one, with most members being knights errant. Because of an early incident is their race's history in which they eradicated the other sentient race that occupied their planet (the insectoid Gardgnot) they have made it their personal duty to atone for this atrocity and have become some of the most noble heroes in the galaxy, however, since they look like a monstrous demonic harbinger of evil, they are frequently mistrusted. They stand about two feet tall, with a single, segmented eye in the middle of their foreheads. The hands have six fingers (they have an opposable "thumb" on both sides of their hands) and a human skin tone with an underlying greenness to it. The Gariem are incredibly intelligent and are deadly marksmen (one in three has the sharpshooter advantage! they also have an unbelievable talent for NOT killing their target!) They have managed to integrate vast technology into their homeworld without harming it, however, and their planet looks like a forest with buildings growing out of it. Their society's natural aptitude for technology has made them into a starfaring race in just 1000 years of existence! Their government is democratic, with a constantly-changing political body (I'll send this with the earring commentary, if you want, but it's also kind of long).
