Reactionless Business Jet v1.0 (TL 10)

        Second-generation reactionless engines are not good enough for economic
    shuttles, but they revolutionize air transport. This small passenger jet is
    an example - clean, quiet and with global range.
        The business jet seats eight passengers with an ample amount of luggage
    in a comfortable cabin. A fusion plant makes maintenance stops every 14,000
    miles the only limit to the range, unless the lack of full quarters is a
    problem. The jet has ALLTVs and GPS for navigation, a triple computer and a
    limited communications suite. The STOL wings allow the operation from local
    airstrips.
        The jet is a TL10 Vehicle [Oct. 95 errata sheet] with the reactionless
    engine from Space.
    
    Structure:  1,200 cf cheap light body (HT 800), maximum load 15 tons, good
        streamlining, sealed body, three retractable wheels (DR 2, HT 45/89),
        two STOL wings (HT 400).
    Propulsion:  Two wing-mounted 1t reactionless engines.
    Power:  2 MW small fusion plant (DR 5, HT 30) and 500 KWh rechargeable
        power cells (DR 5, HT 4). The cells last for 15 minutes at full power.
    Accomodations:  Ten roomy seats, few windows.
    Crew Requirements:  Pilot and co-pilot or computer control.
    Armor:  80 points standard armor, F4/10 B4/10 R4/10 L4/10 T4/10 U4/10
        RW4/10 LW4/10.
    Cargo:  100 cf (and 335.8 cf access space).
    Accessories:  Crashwebs, compact fire extinguisher, twenty man-days limited
        lifesystem, radar locator, two ALLTVs (+7), three dumb opt. minicomps
        (C4, DR 3, HT 4, electronics), dual controls, galley, luxury fittings
        (for eight seats), two GPS, two tactical radios, two cellular phones,
        two transponders, four spotlights (DR 5, HT 2, in the wings). Programs:
        Computer navigation, database (15 GB maps), datalink, sensor operation
        (skill 15 or +4), routine vehicle operation (C3, skill 15).
