Panzerbefehlswagen 38(t) Ausf. A/B/C/D/E/F/S/G Copyright (C) 1996 by James Lowry (jlowry@tfb.com). The Befehlswagen was produced concurrently with all the regular models and served alongside the normal models. They were used as commander's vehicles for units equiped with Panzer 38(t)s. Late in the war, some were used as observation vehicles for self-propelled gun units. The adjusted cost is pre-WWII even though some of the variants were developed after the war started. Its main armament is a 37mm anti-tank gun (crit|*|*|no|*|*|*|1/2|1) with AP (cr|6d*4|12|500|1 mi.) and HE (exp|6d[2d]|10|n/a|1 mi) and a .30 cal machine gun (crit|cr|7d+1|20|12|1000|4700|8|100) in the same mount in the turret. The turret is motor-driven or turned with a hand crank. I used _Leichte Panzers in Action_ by Uwe Feist and Mike Dario, _PzKpfw 38(t) in Action_ by Charles K. Kliment and Hilary L. Doyle, and _Panzerkampfwagen: German Combat Tanks 1933-1945_ by Chris Elliot and Hilary Doyle as references in designing this vehicle.
