        By 1935 it had become evident that Germany's main-line tanks (the
    Panzer III and IV) were taking longer to develop than had been anticipated,
    and it was decided that another, larger training unit might be apropriate.
    By 1936 a finalized design was agreed on, and production began in earnest.
    While not intended for combat duty, the Panzer II was found to be quite
    reliable and Panzer IIs were the most numerous armored units in the Polish
    and French campaigns, with about 1,000 Panzer II's participating in the
    former, and over 900 in the latter.
        Again, I used _Leichte Panzers in Action_ by Uwe Feist and Mike Dario,
    and _Panzerkampfwagen: German Combat Tanks 1933-1945_ by Chris Elliot and
    Hilary Doyle as references.
        The sloping values I use come off the chart I posted a short time ago.
    The turret is turned with a hand crank.
        The 20mm gun (crit|cr|6d*4|20|14|1 mi.|2 mi.|4|6) is an anti-tank
    adaptation of the normal aircraft autocannon and has 75% cost, and 50% RoF.
    The MG 34 (crit|cr|7d|19|10|1,000|3,900|15*|50) is in the same mount as the
    main gun and is operated by the gunner. 
        The Panzer II is a TL 6 vehicle [Oct. 95 errata sheet] with a weapon
    from High Tech.

    Structure:  260 cf extra-heavy cheap body, max load 23,400 lbs. (HT 750).
        Tracked motive system with two tracks (DR 3, HT 375). 25 degree sloped
        front, sealed body.
    Turret:  35 cf standard full-traverse turrret (HT 75). 18 degree sloped
        front, 25 degree sloped right, left, back.
    Propulsion:  97 KW tracked drivetrain.
    Power:  97 KW gasoline engine (DR 5, HT 40), uses 2.91 gallons/hour. 45
        gallon self sealing gas tank (DR 5, HT 25, fire 10), endurance 15.46
        hours.
    Accomodations:  3 cramped internal seats, 2 of which are half in the
        turret.
    Vision:  Slits.
    Crew:  3; driver, commander, gunner.
    Accessories:  Enviromental control.
    Turret Accessories:  Tactical radio (+0 intercept, 15 mi.).
    Weaponry:  20mm gun (DR 5, HT 20) with 180 rounds of 20mm API ammo, and co-
        axial MG 34 machine gun ($400, 27 lbs., DR 5, HT 12) with 1400 rounds,
        in the turret.
    Cargo:  30 cf cargo space, 18.67 cf access space, 40 cf waste space + 3.55
        cf waste space in turret.
    Armor:  225 points expensive armor. F6/99 (slope), R5/30, L5/30, B5/30
        (slope), T5/30, U4/15.
    Turret Armor:  255 points expensive armor. F6/95 (slope), R6/50 (slope),
        L6/50 (slope), B6/50 (slope), T5/30.
    Statistics:  Cost $50,190 (adjusted $3,346), design mass 18,453.5 lbs., max
        payload 4,946.5 lbs., max cargo load 2,700 lbs., current payload 600
        lbs., loaded mass 19,053.5 lbs. (9.53 tons), Size Modifier +3 (+1),
        Radar Signature +3, IR Signarture +4, Acoustic Signature +5.
    Ground Performance:  Ground speed factor 12, top speed 24 mph, acceleration
        3 mph/s, deceleration 20 mph/s, MR .25, SR 7, gets 8.25 miles/gallon.
