Pzkpfw III Ausf. G (Sd. Kfz. 141)

        It was realized early on that the standardization of the 37mm gun
    between the Motorized Troops and the Infantry had been a mistake and a new
    mounting and 50mm gun for the Panzer III were ordered in 1938.  It was 1940
    before the new mount was ready, and the G model started its 450 tank
    production run with it in mind.  In addition, some Fs were refitted with
    the new gun, efectively making them Ausf. Gs.
        The adjusted cost is pre-WWII even though this variant was developed
    after the war started. The main armament is a 50mm anti-tank gun
    (crit|*|*|no|*|*|*|1/3|1) with AP (cr|6d*7|13|700|2 mi.) and HE
    (exp|10d[2d]|11|n/a|1.5 mi) ammunition and a MG34 machine gun
    (crit|cr|7d|19|10|1,000|3,900|15*|50) in the same mount in the turret, and
    another on the front of the hull.  The turret is motor-driven or turned
    with a hand crank.

        The Panzer III G (v. 1.0) is a TL 6 vehicle [July 96 errata sheet] with
    a weapon from High Tech and my armor sloping table.

    Structure:  490 cf extra-heavy standard body, max. load 44,100 lbs. (HT
        1,200). Tracked motive system with two tracks (DR 3, HT 600).  18
        degree sloped front, 18 degree sloped back, sealed body.
    Turret:  65 cf standard full-traverse turret (HT 100).  18 degree sloped
        front, 25 degree sloped right, left.
    Propulsion:  232 KW tracked drivetrain.
    Power:  239 KW gasoline engine (DR 5, HT 75), uses 7.17 gallons/hour. 4
        16.5 gallon self-sealing gas tanks (DR 5, HT 12, fire 10), endurance
        9.21 hours.
    Accomodations:  5 cramped internal seats, 3 of which are half in the
        turret.
    Vision:  Slits.
    Crew:  5; driver, radio operator/hull gunner, commander, gunner, loader.
    Accessories:  Enviromental control, 5 smoke dischargers.
    Turret Accessories:  Tactical radio (+0 intercept, 15 mi.).
    Weaponry:  50mm gun (DR 5, HT 40) with a co-axial MG34 machine gun ($400,
        27 lbs., DR 5, HT 12) in the turret.  MG34 machine gun in forward
        casemate mount.  90 rounds of 50mm ammo, plus 2000 rounds of machine
        gun ammunition.
    Cargo:  50 cf cargo space, 20 cf access space, 76.3 cf waste space + 17.78
        cf waste space in turret.
    Armor:  378 points expensive armor.  F6/88 (slope), R5/84, L5/84, B6/88
        (slope), T5/28, U4/14.
    Turret Armor:  364 points expensive armor.  F6/63 (slope), R6/45 (slope),
        L6/45 (slope), B5/34, T5/88.
    Statistics:  Cost $148,385 (adjusted $9,892), design mass 37,737.5 lbs.,
        max. payload 6,362.5 lbs., max. cargo load 4,500 lbs., current payload
        1,000 lbs., loaded mass 38,737.5 lbs. (19.37 tons), Size Modifier +4

    Ground Performance:  Ground speed factor 12, top speed 27 mph, acceleration
