Sturmgeschuetz III Ausf. F (Sd. Kfz 142/1) Copyright (C) 1996 by James Lowry The Sturmgeschuetz III was pressed into anti-tank duties in Russia as the superior qualities of the Soviet T-34 and KV-1s became apparent. At the beggining of 1942, the Sturmgeschuetz was equipped with an anti-tank gun, and it did well as its low silhouette made it a good ambush weapon. The adjusted cost is pre-WWII even though this variant was developed after the war started. Its armament is a 75mm anti-tank gun (crit|*|*|no|*|*|2 mi.|1/4|1) with AP (cr.|6d*12|13|1,000) and HE (exp.|6d*4[6d]|11|n/a) in a foward casemate mount.
