Panzerjaeger 38(t) Ausf. M/Marder III (Sd. Kfz. 138)

        When the new type M body became available production of the Marder III
    was switched over to the more efficient chassis.  975 vehicles were built
    between April 1943 and May 1944.
        The adjusted cost is pre-WWII even though this variant was developed
    after the war started.  Its long 75mm gun (crit.|*|*|no|12|*|*|1/4|1) with
    AP (cr.|6dx14|1 mi.|3 mi.) and HEAT (sxp.|6dx2(10)|1.5 mi.|2 mi.) is
    mounted in the superstructure on top of the vehicle.

        The Marder III M (v. 1.0) is a TL 6 vehicle [Mar. 96 errata sheet] with
    my armor sloping table.

    Structure:  350 cf extra-heavy standard body (HT 900), max. load 31,500
        lbs.  Tracked motive system with two tracks (DR 6, HT 450). 67-degree
        slope front.
    Superstructure:  105 cf standard superstructure (HT 150).  25 degree front
        slope, 18 degree right and left slope.
    Propulsion:  112 KW tracked drivetrain. Power: 112 KW gasoline engine (DR
        5, HT 40), uses 3.36 gallons/hour. 49 gallon self-sealing gas tank (DR
        5, HT 25, fire 10), endurance 14.58 hours.
    Accomodations:  1 cramped internal seat, 3 normal open seats half in the
        superstructure.
    Vision:  Slits.
    Crew:  4; driver, gunner, loader, commander/radio operator.
    Accessories:  Tactical radio (+0 intercept, 15 mi.).
    Weaponry:  Long 75mm gun in a foward casemate mount in the superstructure.
        41 HEAT and 40 AP 75mm rounds, 27 of which are in the superstructure.
    Cargo:  30 cf cargo space, 1.05 cf access space + 1.84 cf waste space in
        the superstructure.
    Armor:  207 points expensive armor.  F6/84 (slope), R6/45, L6/45, B5/30,
        T5/24, U5/30.
    Superstructure Armor:  90 points expensive armor.  F4/33 (slope), R4/31
        (slope), L4/31 (slope), B0/0, T0/00.
    Statistics:  Cost $121,755 (adjusted $8,118), design mass 23,344 lbs., max.
