It took me two weeks to hash the bugger out, mainly due to its cannon being non-standard. I finally had to invent stats for the 73mm low-pressure gun to get results that matched reality. Stats for the 2A28 Grom 73mm are as follows: Name Malf Type Dmg SS Acc Min 1/2 Max RoF Shots Cost Mass Vol HT 73mm Lo-P crit sxp 6dx5(10)-- 10 11 500 800 1/2 1 $30k 600 15 40 w/ HE ammo exp 6dx12 HEAT & HE are the only ammo types available, as the round is basically an RPG-7 rocket with a cased charge to kick it out of the barrel. The HEAT shells cost $80, weigh 10lbs, and use .2cf space. HE is 1/2 price. The PKT is a normal 7.62mm MG, and the Sagger is a normal Med. ATGM with MCLOS guidance. I used John Freiler's water drive, with the modification that the non-retractable tracks do not affect the waterborne speed. The vehicle has two very serious bugs. First is the poor placement of the commander in the hull. His vision is blocked to the back right of the vehicle by the turret. More importantly, his IR spotlight blocks the gun barrel from covering the left front hexside of the vehicle. The other massive bug is the use of magniesium armor. Yes, the metal that you use to make flares. Care to guess what happens when a big shaped charge hits one of these puppies? Any hit with a HEAT round or a beam weapon that does over 6dx5 of damage has a 1 in 6 chance of invoking the confetti rule (V162) for each multipule of 5. (ie. up to 6dx4, no chance, 6dx5 to 6dx9, 1 in six, 6dx10 to 6dx14, 2 in six, etc....) Micronukes would automatically invoke it, assuming that by some miracle they didn't invoke it by doing 6000+ points of damage.... The usual group of passengers in the BMP-1K are two staff officers, a medic, a rifleman, and a sniper. PS: Secure links don't turn up until you reach the regimental level with the BMP-1KSh. The BMP-1K is the company and battalion command vehicle. Ideally, all military radios should be scrambled, but in real life, they aren't.
