Versions II and III were developed for the military as a light recon vehicle. The Stellar Resource Committee had a version custom designed for planetary exploration. The Terrain IV, is similar to its predecessors. It has a very stable 6-Wheel Design, with lighter armor than the origional. The light weapons turrent has been replaced with a rotating sensor turrent, using the experimental multi sensor from Dynotek. Also included is a long range radio communicator which can reach orbital satellites. The mini-computer runs sensor analysis and navigation programs. It also contains a detailed local database, which the explorers may be adding to.
