This is an ambulance that can rescue people from firefights or pick up
wounded in a dangerous situation. Armored to shrug off small-arms fire,
ruggedly built to survive falling debris, fast and off-road capable, if the
Ambunaught won't get you out, nothing will!

There is room in the back for 2 paramedics and four patients.

Subassemblies and body features: Six large off-road wheels, body.

Propulsion: 100 kW wheeled drivetrain.

Weaponry: It's an ambulance!

Instruments and Electronics: 0.5 mile thermographic imager, communicator,
GPS, 2 small computers, Datalink programs, terminal.

Miscellaneous components: Compact fire suppression system, 4 Emergency
Support Units, emergency lights and sirens, 4 stretchers, burglar alarm.

Controls: Computerized. "Driver" runs all controls.

Occupancy: Short. Crew: Driver (front), 2 paramedics (back), optional
passenger (front). 2 Normal crew stations with crashwebs (front), 2 normal
standing rooms (back). Environemental control.

Power: 100 kW ceramic turbo engine, 28.8 gallons alcohol (good for eight
hours) in self-sealing tank (fire 7), 8 kWh advanced battery.

Space: 4.2 cf access space (engine) 2.4 cf access space (drivetrain), 27.1
cf empty space.
