Spacemobile Armored Car v1.0 (TL 9) Copyright (c) 1995 by Onno Meyer This armored car is intended as the prime AFV of a spacemobile force. It has sensors and nav systems usually reserved for real tanks and a number of 'endurance over performance' design tradeoffs. The car has a C-PAWS (crit|imp|6d*50|15|20|4 mi.|8 mi.|3|50 KWh) and a gauss minigun (ver|cr|6d*3(2)|4|16|1 mi.|4.5 mi.|60|10,000|0.2 KWh) in two separate turrets. The power cell with 60 shots is recharged from an isotope battery at 6 KWh/min. Sensors are a 18-mile thermograph, a 30-mile ladar, a 5-mile multiscanner, a sound detector and two ALLTVs. The cargo hold can be used for spares or infantry gear. The car is a TL09 vehicle [Dec. 93 errata sheet] with a nuclear power unit from Robots. Structure: 320 cf advanced XH body (HT 900), maximum load 14.4t, 60 degree front and 30 degree top slope, seal, six puncture-resistant wheels with improved and off-road suspension (DR 5, HT 38/75), advanced controls, a 50 cf full-traverse turret (HT 100) with 30 degree front & side slopes and a 10 cf full-traverse miniturret on top (DR 200L). Propulsion: 300 KW all-wheel drivetrain. Power: 680 KW nuclear power unit (DR 5, HT 40) and a 3 MWh rechargeable power cell (DR 5, HT 16), excess power 363 KW.
