Spacemobile Assault Lander v1.0 (TL 9) Copyright (c) 1995 by Onno Meyer This is an assault craft for interstellar marines. A reinforced rifle platoon can march/drive right off the lander onto a planet. The rear of the delta-winged craft holds a big troop bay. Usually it is filled with 30 troopers, five battlesuits, one SP gun and either an armored car or a helicopter. That leaves nearly four tons and 280 cf for supplies. The lander is armed with SICM rockets (crit|*|50-yd.|no|5|n/a|4.5 mi.|8|8), two gauss miniguns (ver|cr|8d(2)|4|15|1,000|3 mi.|100|16,000|0.1 KWh) and a six-shot missile launcher (prog|22|sxp|6d*100(10)|120|1,000|15 sec.|0|1/8|3 or prog|22|pxp|6d*400[20d]|400|4,000|15 sec.|0|1/8|3). Sensors are 40-mile thermographs, 60-mile ladars, 5-mile multiscanners, 120-mile radars, ALLTVs and a recon camera. The lander is a TL09 vehicle [Dec. 93 errata sheet].
