Given the 'fixed costs' of any FTL ship, this 1,000-ton ship is at the lower margin for an economic design. The sensor suite contains thermographs (18 miles nominal range), a MAD (8 miles), radars (120 miles) and cameras. The ship has a single railgun (ver|cr|6d*20(3)|10|16|3 mi.|10 mi.|3|200|2 KWh), mostly for psychological reasons - it won't help much against nasty aliens or pirates. Notable is the rotating superstructure - a 'ring' with gravity where most activity and all off-duty time takes place. The ship carries some 150 tons of cargo.
