        A simple craft carved from a log.
        Strictly following the rules would change performance with Tech Level,
    but small craft were mostly identical from TL0 to TL5; the performance
    figures are based on TL3. The water speed is legal under the rules, but
    fails reality checking. It should be less than half the listed speed.
        The canoe uses Vehicles 1st. edition (March 96 errata) with a modified
    acoustic signature (paddles get the oar modifier).

    Structure:  155 cf light cheap body (wooden), maximum load 3,875 lbs. (body
        HT 175), flotation hull with fine hydrodynamics (flotation 3,875 lbs).
    Propulsion:  6 paddles, 1.5 KW with average ST10.
    Accomodation:  6 light open normal seats.
    Crew requirements:  1 minimum.
    Accessories:  None. You might consider an anchor ($100, 50lbs, 2cf).
    Armor:  20 points cheap flammable armor (wood). F3/4F, B3/4F, L3/4F, R3/4F,
        T0/0, U3/4F.
    Cargo:  41.75 cf at full occupancy (116.75 cf with only one person).
    Statistics:  Cost $1,341 ($89 at TL4-), design mass 2,160 lbs., maximum
        payload 1,715 lbs., max. cargo load 1043.75 lbs. (1,715 lbs. with one
        person), current payload 1,715 lbs., loaded mass 3,875 lbs. (1.9 tons).
