        In 1978 Judge's Guild published the first book of ships for roleplaying
    games, _Sea Steeds and Wave Riders_ by David Sering. This is a translation
    of one boat from that book.
        This vehicle is pure ostentation. A catamaran hull resembling a pair of
    Venetian gondolas supports either side of a square deck holding a great
    throne-like seat. Oars are provided, but it would normally be towed by
    small boats, or in a fantasy environment, by an impressive sea monster.

    Structure:  1,300 cf TL2 standard light body (wooden), max. load 32,500
        lbs. (body HT800). Flotation hull with fine hydrodynamics and catamaran
        option (flotation 32,500 lbs.), 133 sf top deck, 25 cf expensive
        (wooden) superstructure (HT 60).
    Propulsion:  Usually towed; 4 two-man oars, 1.6 KW with average ST 10.
    Accomodation: 1 open roomy seat (in superstructure).
    Crew requirements:  1 steersman minimum.
    Accessories:  Luxury fittings for one seat.
    Armor:  On body, 48 points standard flammable armor (wood) F4/8F, L4/8F,
        R4/8F, B4/8F, T4/8F, U4/8F. On superstructure, 24 points standard
        flammable armor (wood) F0/0, L4/8F, R4/8F, B4/8F, T0/0.
    Cargo:  Body: 400 cf, 640 waste; Superstructure: 4.5 cf.
