Patrol Boat v1.0 (TL 08)

        This low-budget patrol craft was build for coastal defense and ASW. The
    catamaran hull provides a big weapons and sensor platform - comparable to
    any helicopter.
        With torpedoes (SH/ALH|18/20|exp|6d*4,000|100|100|15 min.|+1|1/8|3/3)
    and an autocannon (ver|sxp|4d(10)+1d[2d]|20|15|1.5 mi.|3 mi.|8|1,000) it
    can fight surface and submerged targets, in the primary 'weapons' are the
    sensors - a fixed and a towed hydrophone (nominal range 20 miles), a ladar
    (underwater range 2 miles) and a radar (30 miles).
        The boat is a TL08 Vehicle [Mar. 96 errata sheet].

    Structure: 2,000 cf expensive light body (HT 1,000), max. load 25t, seal,
        catamaran hull with fine hydrodynamics (flotation 25 tons), 100 sf top
        deck, 200 cf superstructure, 0.5 cf and 2 cf full-traverse miniturrets
        (DR 10) under and over the superstructure.
    Propulsion: Two 550 KW aquajets (DR 5, HT 150).
    Power: Two 560 KW fuel cells (DR 5, HT 60) with 840 gallons hydrogen (self-
        sealing, DR 5, HT 175, fire on 10) for 50h and 100 KWh rechargeable
        power slugs (DR 5, HT 12). Excess power 7.25 KW.
    Accomodation: Eight roomy seats (four of them in the superstructure).
    Armor: 120 points expensive body armor, F4/20 B4/20 R4/20 L4/20 T4/20 U4/20
        and 100 points expensive superstructure armor, SF4/20 SB4/20 SR4/20
        SL4/20 ST4/20.
    Cargo: None, but 562.3 cf + 7.15 cf access space.
    Accessories: In the body - Two bilge pumps, heavy compartmentalization,
        environmental control, compact fire extinguisher, basic sound baffling,
        two long-range hydrophones (scan 20, DR 3, HT 20, electronics). In the
        superstructure - 24 chaff/flare dischargers, radar locator, medium
        cheap blue-green ladar with rangefinder (scan 14, DR 3, HT 10, turret),
        short-range surface-search radar (scan 21/15, DR 3, HT 4, turret),
        three minicomps (C3, DR 3, HT 4, electronics), emergency light and
        sirens, galley, navigation instruments (DR 3, HT 6, electronics), two
        GPS, three secure long-distance radios (DR 3, HT 4, electronics), three
        IFF. Programs: Database (26.17 GB recognition guide and maps),
        datalink, sensor operation (C3, skill 14 or +3), routine vehicle
        operation (skill 12), targeting (C3, +4).
    Weaponry: Pintle-mounted 20mm caseless autocannon (DR 5, HT 15) with 1,000
        HEDP rounds and a fixed heavy torpedo tube (DR 5, HT 70) with three SH
        and three ALH torpedoes.
    
    Statistics: Cost $800,000, design mass 15t, max. payload 10t, current load
        1t, loaded mass 16t, size modifier +5, radar signature +5, IR signature
        +6, acoustic signature -2.
    
    Water Performance: Speed factor 19, top speed 76 mph, acceleration 2 mph/s,
